Private California Host/Networking Suite

For Cal Chiefs’ members and invited guests only. The room opens Friday October 14th at 6:00 pm and runs until midnight Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. This year the suite will feature some San Diego culinary treats. You can register by clicking here.

California Networking Lunch

Join your peers for the California Luncheon, Monday, October 17th from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm which will feature Chris Van Gorder, president/CEO of Scripps Health and a former police officer who was critically injured. Mr. Van Gorder is very well known in the San Diego area and speaks frequently on leadership. He will share his 10 principles of front-line leadership and provide some examples of what those leadership qualities have meant at Scripps and in his personal life.  You can register by clicking here.

 IACP Banquet

This is a big year for California at the IACP conference in San Diego. Not only are more than 250 of our members attending the conference, but our candidate for IACP Fourth Vice President, Folsom Police Chief Cindy Renaud, is running unopposed in the election and will be sworn in as the new 4th Vice President on Tuesday, October 18th, the last evening of the conference, at the San Diego Convention Center. California’s seating will be grouped together at the event, and you can purchase tickets on the IACP conference website, here
