Interim Placement Service on MuniLink
Here is the final announcement on the process for selecting interim police chiefs. If any retired member is interested in being considered for such an assignment, go to the website and download the application. Since January, Public Service Skills, Inc (PSS) and the League of California Cities (League) have been working to transform PSS’ interim placement service into an Internet-based resource tool. The transition is now complete.
Effective immediately public agencies can access MuniLink, the League’s on-line products, services and interim employee directory, to easily identify retirees and consultants willing to undertake interim assignments. The response by former PSS registrants has been positive and the database of police chiefs, and other former municipal management personnel continues to grow daily. Like the retirees who have embraced and registered with MuniLink, the response by city officials has been overwhelmingly positive.
MuniLink’s on-line products, services and interim employee directory provide immediate and direct access to individuals committed to helping your city solve its interim staffing needs. To access MuniLink, go to www.cacities.org/munilink.
