Legislative Engagement Summit 2026

The Legislative Summit is back and better than ever! After several years on pause, we are relaunching this signature event with an expanded program designed to inform, empower, and connect our members. 

Day 1 offers a full slate of education sessions, panels, and presentations covering the legislative landscape from the ground up. Attendees will learn how the legislature works, gain insight into politics and elections, and hear directly from current legislators and Capitol insiders who influence public safety policy.

On Day 2, participants can opt in for scheduled meetings at the Capitol. This is a unique chance to speak with your legislators, share the priorities of your department and community, and help shape the conversations happening in Sacramento.

This summit is developed in partnership with CPCA’s Legislative Advocate, Jonathan Feldman. It promises to be an informative and impactful experience for all who attend.
