Naved Qureshi

Commander Naved Qureshi serves as the Police Commander overseeing the Operations Division for the City of San Marino Police Department. He brings over 24 years of combined law enforcement and civilian experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to public safety, organizational leadership, and community partnership.

Commander Qureshi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego. His academic and professional background reflect a deep dedication to advancing policing practices through education, collaboration, and innovation.

In addition to his departmental responsibilities, Commander Qureshi is an active member of the California Police Chiefs Association (CPCA) Wellness Committee, where he contributes to statewide initiatives promoting officer wellness and professional resilience within the law enforcement community.
