Chief
Fort Bragg Police Department
Professional Bio
After serving seven years in the USAF and USAFR, I joined the Turlock Police Department. There, I attained the rank of Lieutenant and served as an Acting Captain for nearly a year. During my 22 years in Turlock, I worked a variety of assignments including Patrol, FTO, Gang Investigations, Honor Guard, Motors, Internal Affairs, PIO, and Training Manager. In management, I oversaw Dispatch, Records, Detectives and SWAT Team as Commander.
In July of 2022, I was appointed Chief of Police in Fort Bragg, California. Focusing on officer wellness, training, equipment, and staffing, we have reorganized the Department and developed a positive work environment.
A supportive City Council and community have enabled us to be a leader in EV patrol vehicle deployment and creating a social services unit, which addresses homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse in and around Fort Bragg.
