Ryan Monaghan

I have over 29 years of experience working for small, medium, and large local law enforcement agencies in both San Mateo and Marin Counties. After retiring as the Chief of Police for the Town of Tiburon, I transistioned into my current role as an Assistant Sheriff for the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. I am passionate about leadership development and improving the policing profession. My formal education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Management and a Master's Degree in Homeland Defense and Security. I enjoy remaining active with CPCA and contributing to committees.
