The CPCA Annual Training Symposium (ATS) is the must-attend event for law enforcement professionals across California. Bringing together police chiefs and upper-level command staff, ATS is a unique forum for networking, learning, and exploring cutting-edge solutions that will shape the future of public safety. 

This year’s symposium marks a significant milestone as we celebrate CPCA’s 60th anniversary — six decades of leadership, collaboration, and service to California’s communities. The event features a dynamic mix of workshops and inspiring general session keynotes, offering members high-quality continuing education and meaningful opportunities to connect with peers from across the state.

Guided by this year’s theme, Together in Service, the symposium highlights the collective strength of California’s police chiefs working side by side to serve their communities, support one another, and advance the policing profession for generations to come. Our theme reflects CPCA’s ongoing commitment to shaping policy, mentoring future leaders, and upholding the highest standards in public safety.

Registration to the Annual Training Symposium includes:

  • Up to 9 POST CPT credits
  • 18 workshops and 3 Keynotes to choose from
  • Access to CPCA exclusive companies at the Expo Hall
  • All meal functions and social activities (Welcome Mixer, Poolside Pours Reception, and Gather). 
    • Meals included: 3 lunches, 1 breakfast, coffee each morning, and 1 dinner.

Please note that individuals who are employed by or represent a company or service provider are not eligible to register as general attendees. Participation is reserved for those who are attending as a current or retired member of a policing agency. Retired members who register should not attend to market the current company they represent. Company representatives are encouraged to explore sponsorship or exhibitor opportunities instead.

Registration Fee Policy
Registration fees must be paid in full by February 16th, 2026 or your registration will be canceled for non-payment. If you are registering for an event within 30 days prior to the event you must pay the registration fee in full at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Kennedy Higgs.
  2. Cancellations received on or before February 16th, 2026 will receive a full refund.
  3. Cancellations received between February 17th, 2025 and March 2nd, 2026 will be subject to a $100 administrative fee. 
  4. Cancellations received on or after March 3rd, 2026 will not receive a refund.
  5. No shows forfeit full registration

Substitution Policy

All substitutions must be made by March 3rd, 2026. After that time, all substitutions must be made onsite at check-in.
